2015 Reedy Race Control Tire Announcement
December 1, 2014 -- The Reedy Race is pleased to announce that Pro-Line and JConcepts will continue to be the official tire and insert suppliers for the 21st running of the Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions.
With extensive testing from multiple vehicle manufacturers and with the assistance of representatives from manufacturers, the control tires and inserts were selected to provide the participants with the best possible combination for each vehicle. The following will be the only combinations allowed at the event:
2WD Buggy- Front: JConcepts Gold Dirt Webs (#3077-05) & Pro-Line Closed Cell Inserts (#6185-03)
- Rear: JConcepts Gold Dirt Webs (#3076-05) & Pro-Line V2 Closed Cell Inserts (#6185-04)
4WD Buggy- Front: Pro-Line MC Electron (#8240-17) & Pro-Line Closed Cell Inserts (#6185-02)
- Rear: Pro-Line MC Electron (#8238-17) & Pro-Line V2 Closed Cell Inserts (#6185-04)
All the tires and foam are 2.2” size and may only be mounted on 2.2” wheels. A complete list of tire rules can be found at http://reedyrace.com/2015/offroad/tires.html.
2014 marked the first time a control additive was used at the Reedy Race and this will continue for 2015. A designated tire saucing area will be set up and all application of tire additive must be done at this location with the control tire sauce. The mild additive is low odor, low toxicity and has been tested against other popular additives at OCRC to ensure consistent performance.
Remember, included with each entry is one set of control tires and inserts. Additional tires and inserts may be purchased though OCRC Raceway beginning in mid-December. However, any tire used during a scored round at the Reedy Race must have a branding mark from the event which is only available for purchase during the event dates of January 22-25, 2015.

2015 Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions Payment Deadline -- November 20, 2014
November 18, 2014 -- Just a few days remain for those racers selected in the Open Class lottery drawing to secure their place in the 21st running of the Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions. To complete payment, please log in to your RCSignup account and follow the payment instructions using PayPal. Payment is due by midnight, November 20, 2014. Remember, included with each confirmed and paid entry is a complete set of control tires, inserts and a personalized grab bag.

After the payment deadline, the Waiting List will be contacted in order to fill the remaining places in the event. Payment for Waiting List drivers will be due within 24 hours of notification from the event organizer.
Invitational drivers that have registered must also confirm by November 20th by paying via RCSignup, or Team Mangers may contact reedyrace@rc10.com for other payment options.
If you registered and are unable to attend, please notify the event organizer via reedyrace@rc10.com. so others may fill your position. As a courtesy to your fellow racers, please notify the organizers promptly if you are not able to attend.

2015 Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions Entry Reminder
October 13, 2014 -- The final week to enter and have a chance to become a part of the 21st running of the most exciting RC race in the world is here. With over 500 lottery entries already submitted in the Open Classes, the event is sure to be a major success. Remember, all entries must be submitted by October 19, 2014 at midnight, PST.
To allow everyone an opportunity to be a part of the 21st running of the Reedy Race, a lottery drawing for the open classes will be conducted on October 20th with the first 200 entries drawn securing a place in the event. Entry fees are only collected after the lottery drawing and for the selected Open and Invitational drivers. Remember, included with each confirmed and paid entry is a complete set of control tires, inserts, and a personalized grab bag.
Qualified Invitational Drivers must register by the same October 20th date to hold their ranked position. After that date, entries will be granted based upon organizer's choice.

2015 Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions Announced
August 29, 2014 -- The Reedy Race is pleased to announce that the 2015 Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions will return to OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach, CA from January 22-25, 2015.
2014 was the first year that the Reedy Race was held at OCRC Raceway and the response was extremely positive, not only from the racers, but from spectators, event sponsors, industry representatives, and the media. With continued support from Team Associated, UpGrade, Pro-Line, JConcepts, LiveRC and the addition of Monster Energy, the 2014 event was taken to a whole new level.
The results saw Ryan Cavalieri crowned Invitational champion for the third time and for the second consecutive year. In the 2WD Open class, J.P. Richards claimed the title while Spencer Rivkin took the 4WD Open class. Both of these racers will join Cavalieri and the World's best to compete for the 2015 Invitational title.
Entries for the 2015 Reedy International Off-Road race of Champions open at noon, PST on September 1, 2014 exclusively on www.rcsignup.com and close October 19, 2014 at midnight, PST. As in previous years, the event features its traditional 2WD Open and 4WD Open classes and the combined Invitational 2WD/4WD format.

With all the major championships completed for 2014, the ranked list of qualified Invitational drivers can be found at www.reedyrace.com/2015/offroad/qualified.html. If you are one of the qualified drivers, please be sure to register under the Invitational event once entries open. If more than 30 qualified drivers wish to participate, the entries will be sorted in ranked order with those drivers ranked beyond 30 guaranteed a spot in the Open classes and listed as first alternates for cancellations in the Invitational class.
